About Me

Welcome! I'm Becca, a Licensed Professional Counselor based in the beautiful state of Colorado. I graduated with my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School in 2020. Following, I worked at an eating disorder treatment center for two and a half years before transitioning into the outpatient world. Most often my clients are seeking help with body image distress, eating disorders/disordered eating, complex trauma, life transitions and anxiety disorders.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to create a safe and supportive environment, empowering you to discover your inner strength and promote healing. I most often incorporate EMDR (let's work your nervous system so you can optimize your time in your window of tolerance), Internal Family Systems (exploring and healing parts of self), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (let's explore what you value in life), and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (let's challenge your pesky internal dialogue). There is not a "one size fits all" when it comes to what therapeutic approach is the "most helpful". I am always tailoring my sessions to my clients and what they are needing individually.

As a therapist, I have also spent my fair share of time in therapy! Personal therapy has helped me tremendously throughout my life and it has been part of my purpose to become a therapist and help clients on their path to fulfillment. I may self-disclose experiences I have had in sessions, but only if I find it helpful for my client and their journey.

In my free time you can find me hanging and playing games at a park, checking out the local farmer's market grabbing all the goodies, or out in the mountains, whether that is mountain biking, running, camping, or skiing. Adventure is one of my top values and I do my best to move towards that value whenever I can.

I have two cats who I absolutely adore and they will visit in session from time to time.

I'm here to help you with...
